A Current of Energy

I like to imagine that there’s this energy we cannot see, a current of thoughts, dreams, wishes, prayers, and ideas. It connects us, guides us, and brings us together even when we are separated by thousands of miles, even with those whom are separated from Earth entirely, and, that’s why when you think about someone, there is a good chance they are thinking about you too; because maybe a prayer is never just a prayer, a wish is never just a wish, a dream is never just a dream, it is a piece of our own light that we give to the sky, the light that connects us all. Maybe that’s what the Northern Lights are, it’s where all of the energy goes before traveling elsewhere, before finding its new home.

Photo illustration inspired after seeing the northern lights for the first time in Kuopio, Finland.
